Wednesday (11) begins with overcast weather and a heavy rain alert in Curitiba, according to Inmet. Instability should continue throughout the week, with showers through Friday and mild temperatures. The alert forecasts precipitation of up to 50 mm per day and winds of up to 60 km/h, with a low risk of flooding and falling branches.
In traffic, there are important changes in city neighborhoods. Rua Olívio Domingos Leonardi, in Sítio Cercado, has become one-way, and Rua Prefeito Ambrósio Bini, in Capão Raso, will be blocked for works under the Novo Inter 2 project until June. The newsletter also brings opportunities and services for Curitiba residents, such as the job fair with more than 5,8 thousand openings at Praça Rui Barbosa and the new batch of registrations for the 1st stage of the Curitiba Street Racing Circuit, which takes place this month.
On the cultural agenda, there are varied options for the coming days, including a choro jam at the MPB Conservatory, a concert by the Paraná Symphony Orchestra, a showcase of Brazilian films nominated for the Oscars at Cine Passeio, and free Sesc activities. The edition also gathers course and event opportunities from UFPR, programming for children at MON, and the list of free, organic, and night markets spread across the city this Wednesday.
