Candidates registered for the journalism area in the competition for faculty positions at the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG) will not take the exam this Sunday (15), as previously scheduled. There was a change in the notice, and the University's communications department did not provide details on the reason for the change.
The decision is stated in a notice from the Public Competition Commission for Professors of the Public Teaching Career of Paraná (CCCPPD), which is responsible for conducting the selection process.

The exams are part of a notice that provides for 65 openings, after more than ten years without a competition at the institution. The notice does not cancel the competition, but temporarily halts the progress of the selection in this area, keeping the other areas of the process as per the established schedule.
The university does not specify, in the document, when the suspended stages may be resumed. To Plural, UEPG said that “All acts related to the competition are being published on the competition page and candidates should follow the stages and decisions via the link (see here).”
The setting of a new schedule depends on a later decision by the commission responsible for the competition.
